Mark Manriquez for Teller County Sheriff

I would like to take this opportunity to express a heartfelt "thank you" to all who have supported me throughout my 14-month-long campaign for Sheriff of Teller County.

The encouragement of my supporters has been incredible, allowing me and my family to meet a lot of new people in this great county of ours.

At the beginning of my campaign, I promised never to quit regardless of what obstacles where placed in front of me. I held true to that promise.

When the Clerk and Recorder's Office discounted my petition for insufficient signatures, I fought to formulate a legal precedent that would assist future petitioners, as well as disenfranchised voters, in having their voices heard.

While there are still thousands of voices that have not been heard in this election, Colorado Law prevents me from continuing to run for this office in the general election as a write-in candidate.

 Again, I and my team would like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support.
